Announcement: Since January 2021 the European Journal of Cell Biology became an open access journal. Authors who publish in European Journal of Cell Biology will be able to make their work immediately, permanently, and freely accessible.European Journal of Cell Biology authors will pay an article publishing charge (APC), have a choice of license options, and retain copyright to their published work. The APC will be requested after peer review and acceptance. The APC payment will be required for all accepted articles submitted after the 30th of September 2020. The European Journal of Cell Biology (EJCB) welcomes articles that include original long- and short-format studies and reviews covering multi-disciplinary approaches to cell biology in models as diverse as life itself. With emphasis in quality and reproducibility, the Journal also welcomes submissions on transversal and technical advances that push the edge of knowledge forward. The fundamental aim of EJCB is to serve its audience as a platform to illuminate and communicate the inner works of cells as the basic unit of life in its many shapes and forms.Cell biology has become a multidisciplinary science driven to understand the basic principles of cellular behavior from single molecules to whole tissues and organisms. Within this scope, EJCB includes studies in the following areas and beyond:Cell-cell and cell-matrix adhesionCell motility and migrationOrganelle dynamicsCell biophysics and mechanicsMolecular mechanobiologyCytosk... dynamicsCell proliferationCellula... metabolismSignal transductionMolecula... sortingCellular differentiation and reprogrammingCellula... senescence and programmed cell deathCell specializationTechni... advances in cell biologyIn silico modelling of cell functions
Trends in Cancer is a new member of the Trends review journals, offering concise and engaging expert commentary articles that address key frontline research topics and cutting-edge advances in the rapidly changing field of cancer discovery and medicine. The journal provides a unique platform for multidisciplinary information, discussion and education that is valuable for scientists, clinicians, and policy makers, as well as patients and advocates. The latest opportunities, challenges and potential impact of basic, translational and clinical findings, industry R&D, technology and innovation, ethics, or cancer policy and funding are equally presented and debated in an authoritative but reader-friendly format.Critical issues to be covered in the journal include: Adult and Pediatric Cancers; Personalized Medicine; Tumor Microenvironment, Resistance and Metastasis; Immunotherapy; Metabolism; Genetics and Epigenetics; Diagnostics, Biomarkers and Treatment; Epidemiology and Cancer Prevention; Cancer related Ethics, Policy and Funding Initiatives.Visit the Cell Press website for more information about Trends in Cancer - http://www.cell.com/...
