Each issue is thematic in approach, devoted to an important topic of interest to immunologists, focusing on recent advances across a broad spectrum of research, from the molecular and cellular basis of the immune response to the possibilities for its manipulation. Every issue is edited by a guest editor, an internationally acknowledged expert in the field, and contains six to eight authoritative invited reviews on different aspects of the subject area. The aim of each issue is to provide a coordinated, readable, and lively review of a selected area, published rapidly to ensure currency.
