AIMS AND SCOPE

There is a vast world literature on petroleum and its products and the contributions in the field emanating from Russia are of great importance. Petroleum Chemistry is a cover-to-cover translation of the Russian journal Neftekhimiya, dealing mainly with the chemistry of petroleum and its use as a base for the manufacture of industrial products. These papers are of value and interest to the researcher, the laboratory chemist and to all those dealing with the practical aspects of petroleum technology.Petroleum Chemistry has a wide coverage and includes papers on the analysis, physical and chemical properties, and behaviour of individual petroleum constituents. Complementary papers cover the mechanism and application of a wide spectrum of processing reactions, featuring particularly catalytic oxidation and reduction.Neftekhimiya is published six times a year.
