New Astronomy publishes articles in all fields of astronomy and astrophysics, with a particular focus on computational astronomy: mathematical and astronomy techniques and methodology, simulations, modelling and numerical results and computational techniques in instrumentation. New Astronomy includes full length research articles, review articles, and focus reviews. Focus reviews are short articles, with a typical length of a few pages, reviewing the recent results in a field where important advancements have been made in the past few years. It should present only more recent results, without attempting a complete review of the topic. Focus reviews are intended to present an agile compendium of recent advancements and their discussion. Full length articles and review articles are open to all researchers, while focus reviews are published by invitation only. If you wish to submit a focus review, please contact the editors first. The journal covers solar, stellar, galactic and extragalactic astronomy and astrophysics. It reports on original research in all wavelength bands, ranging from radio to gamma-ray.
