Description

Life Sciences is an international journal publishing high-quality research that advances understanding of the molecular, cellular, physiological, and translational mechanisms underlying human health and disease.

The journal seeks studies that provide mechanistic insight into biological processes with relevance to disease pathogenesis, prevention, diagnosis, or therapy. We welcome research spanning molecular and cellular biology, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, immunology, metabolism, biotechnology, nutrition and health, and related disciplines, provided the work contributes to a deeper understanding of mechanisms relevant to human biology and disease.

Life Sciences particularly encourages submissions that bridge fundamental discovery and translational application, including studies of disease mechanisms, molecular diagnostics, biomarkers, therapeutic targets, intervention strategies, and biologically informed approaches to improving human health.

The journal publishes mechanistically driven research of biological and translational significance. Studies lacking mechanistic advancement, as well as work focused solely on biological extracts of unknown chemical composition, are unlikely to be considered.
