Journal of Mood & Anxiety Disorders

Journal of Mood & Anxiety Disorders, the official journal of the ADAA, welcomes original clinical, translational, and basic research as well as synthetic review articles covering neurobiology (genetics and neuroimaging), epidemiology, experimental psychopathology, pathophysiology and treatment (psychotherapeutic, neuromodulation, and pharmacologic) aspects of mood and anxiety disorders. We encourage original research submissions from basic neuroscientists and pharmacologists as well as all clinical investigators to establish a platform for translational advances and discussion. All submissions will be peer reviewed.

To advance this discussion, review papers focusing on these topics will be prioritized:

• Recent advances in the psychopharmacologic, psychotherapeutic, neuromodulatory or other innovations in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.

• Innovative and cutting-edge systematic reviews of key areas; for example neurobiologic, psychologic and biopsychosocial models of mood and anxiety disorders or best-evidence treatment approaches of mood and anxiety disorders.

• Scientific advances guiding our understanding of the causes and management of mood and anxiety disorder.

• From global experts providing an cross-national perspective of mood and anxiety disorders.
