The Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology Plus (JMCC PLUS) is a new open access journal of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR). The journal aims to publish fundamental and translational research that advances knowledge of the mechanisms responsible for both normal and diseased cardiovascular function.
At JMCC PLUS we focus on robust scientific validity and high technical quality. In addition to mechanistic research, we also consider rigorously tested negative results, replication studies, studies repeating key experiments in different model systems and datasets generated from functional or multi-omics studies as resource papers. We accept submission of Research Articles, Resource papers, Reviews and Correspondence.
Our editorial process is fast and transparent and open access ensures that articles are available to everyone without restrictions.
Authors of studies deemed to be of high quality and interest may be offered an opportunity to present their work in a Webinar sponsored by the Society (ISHR). For further information on previous webinars please see our JMCC-ISHR YouTube channel. Our social media team will work hard to promote your work on our social media channels. International Society for Heart Research has been set up in 1968 and our community is made up over 3,000 members, in 7 international Sections (Australasian, Chinese, European, Indian, Japanese, Latin American and North American). By publishing in JMCC PLUS, your work has the opportunity to be showcased at ISHRs World Congress and Section Meetings.
