The official Journal of Science Press and the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The Journal of Energy Chemistry is a publication that mainly reports on creative researches and innovative applications of chemical conversions of fossil energy, carbon dioxide, electrochemical energy and hydrogen energy, as well as the conversions of biomass and solar energy related with chemical issues to promote academic exchanges in the field of energy chemistry and to accelerate the exploration, research and development of energy science and technologies.
The Journal functions as a medium for reporting original research papers dealing with topics in the fields of energy chemistry. It is devoted to up-to-date progress in the following fields all over the world:
• Optimized utilization of fossil energy
• Hydrogen energy
• Conversion and storage of electrochemical energy
• Capture, storage, and chemical conversion of carbon dioxide
• Materials and nanotechnologies related to energy conversion and storage
• Chemistry in biomass conversion
• Chemistry in the utilization of solar energy
Important note: Journal of Energy Chemistry is by definition a journal of energy and chemistry science and technology and is not intended as a medium for publishing descriptions of plant results except when the latter make a contribution to scientific understanding. The work described should possess novelty, repetition of earlier work, and should lead to new and unexpected conclusions if it is to qualify for publication.
The corresponding author in the EM system must be consistent with the one specified in the submitted manuscript. It is not permitted for the first author and non-corresponding author to be designated as the corresponding author in the submission system.
During the manuscript revision stage, you must provide a written explanation if you need to add a corresponding author. This should include the reasons for adding the corresponding author and a confirmation letter signed by all co-authors agreeing to the addition. The signed document must be uploaded to the EM system.
Please note: No changes will be permitted after acceptance, including adding/removing authors, modifying affiliations, changing author order, or adding/removing funding information, etc.
This Journal welcomes contributions that support and advance the UN's sustainable development goals, in particular SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy).
