The Journal of Dermatologic Science and Cosmetic Technology is an interdisciplinary, comprehensive academic journal. We are committed to publishing and reporting innovative scientific and technological achievements related to dermatology science and cosmetic technology, to build a high-level academic exchange platform for skin and cosmetic research.

We publish original research and review articles, as well as other content types such as perspectives, commentaries, and case reports, in the following areas:

>>Dermatology Field

(1) Fundamental Research in Dermatology: Includes basic, translational, and clinical studies on skin health, scalp health, and oral mucosa; skin biology; and skin physiology.

(2) Medical Skin Health and Aesthetics: Covers clinical dermatology, medical skincare, and techniques and methods in medical aesthetics (such as laser treatments, minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, and skincare).

(3) Adverse Reactions of Cosmetics on the Skin: Research on the mechanisms, prevention, and management of adverse reactions caused by cosmetics (such as allergies, irritation, and phototoxicity).

>>Cosmetic Science and Technology Field

(1) Raw Materials: Research on the production processes, structural modification, efficacy, and toxicology of cosmetic ingredients, including plant extracts, bioactive substances, and synthetic raw materials.

(2) Formulation and Processing: Covers formulation design, dosage form innovation, performance studies, efficacy and safety evaluation, packaging design, digital manufacturing, artificial intelligence technology development, and big data construction.

(3) Efficacy and Safety: Encompasses scientific regulation, development of international and domestic regulations, quality control, policy interpretation, regulatory implementation, and ethical issues in cosmetic research.
