International Orthodontics

Official organ of the European College of Orthodontics (Collège Européen d'Orthodontie, CEO)

International Orthodontics publishes in English worldwide peer-reviewed scientific and clinical articles aimed to Orthodontists. The journal considers for publication papers written by recognized international teams, mainly original articles and systematic reviews/ meta-analyses, and case reports, provided that:

• the methodology and scientific content are of high quality,

• every stage of the orthodontic treatment is examined,

• the results have substantial clinical impact and/or importance for the Orthodontist's knowledge.

Submissions on all areas related to Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, as well as interdisciplinary specialties (Orthognathic surgery, Periodontics, Prosthetics and Implantology, ENT, Sleep, Occlusodontics, Physiotherapy) are particularly welcome.

The journal publishes topics such as: Evidence-based Orthodontics, diagnosis, facial growth, cephalometry 2D/3D Imaging, aesthetics, therapeutic strategy and efficacy, anchorage, biomechanics, biomaterials.

International Orthodontics does not accept submissions on simple literature reviews and topics too far removed from orthodontics.

All articles are supported by numerous colour illustrations for greater didactic clarity, tables and/or statistical data for greater understanding of the research findings.
