International Journal of Cardiology Innovations

The Journal will publish research and developments in cardiology relating to innovative devices and technology (implantable, wearable etc.), digital health, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) modelling and solutions. Papers on innovative solutions for any Technology Readiness Levels will be considered, earlier phases and early start-ups are encouraged to submit (from TRL1-Early-stage research to TRL6- Prototype system demonstrated in intended use environment). The Journal will also publish research and developments on new pipeline drugs targeting new molecular/genomics pathways or new indications for existing molecules.

1. AI/ML Solutions: This section encompasses research and applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques in cardiovascular diseases.

2. Digital Health Solutions – Connected Health: This section includes research on devices (smartphones, tablets, wearables, IoT devices) and software solutions such Digital therapeutics (DTx).

3. Implantable devices: This section investigates the latest technological advancements in implantable devices, such as systems for structural heart diseases, new cardiac pacers and arrythmia controllers, and drug delivery systems. Highlights innovations in applicability, materials, miniaturization, power sources, and wireless connectivity that enhance device performance and patient outcomes.

4. Emerging Technologies / Future Prospects: In this section, the journal features research on emerging technologies such as edge computing, blockchain, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and others that are shaping the future of digital health space.

5. Ethical and Societal Implications: Considering the ethical, societal, and policy implications of advancing technologies is crucial. The journal welcomes discussions on responsible AI development, privacy, safety and security concerns, algorithmic bias, and the societal impact of digital innovations.

6. Start-ups Corner: Start-ups corner features short articles focused on entrepreneurial ventures, innovation, and business development within the context of early-stage startups. This section may include case studies, success stories, interviews with founders or industry experts, and analyses of emerging trends in the startup ecosystem. Start-ups corner provides valuable insights, best practices, and practical guidance for entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals involved in startup creation and growth.
