COESH is part of the Current Opinion and Research (CO+RE) suite of journals . Please note that review articles in Current Opinion in Environmental Science & Health (COESH) are by invitation only. It will invite top experts to write short reviews on current advances in their field.

Articles published in COESH cover all the different aspects of Environment and Health under the following themes sections:

Each theme helps to identify, understand and solve environmental problems and is not mutually exclusive. Once a year, we publish an Open Issue, which offers an opportunity for authors working on diverse topics to submit an abstract for consideration.

Submissions

Current Opinion in Environmental Science & Health allows two ways to submit to the journal:

Invitation – in line with the established procedure followed across all Current Opinion titles and

NEW– Authors may submit their work through the 'unsolicited submission’ option' available in the submission portal (https://www.editorialmanager.com/coesh/default2.aspx) which ensures the journal remains fully open to prospective contributors

In the cover letter accompanying the submission, the corresponding author of a review article should provide a concise description of their expertise in the subject area, and list at least 10 relevant research papers on which they also served as the corresponding author." The letter should also articulate the need for the proposed review and clearly state how the submission distinguishes itself from the most recent and related Reviews, Perspectives, or Viewpoints in the field.
