Biochemistry and Biophysics Reports (BB Reports) publishes original research from all scientific fields in all aspects of biochemistry and biophysics and related areas, such as molecular and cell biology and environmental toxicology.

BB Reports welcomes a broad range of studies, from detailed mechanistic to more preliminary, descriptive, confirmatory, and small-scale studies, as long as the studies are solid, add new data and knowledge, have the potential to contribute to future research, and confirm or refute an existing hypothesis.

Primary criteria for acceptance are that the work is experimentally and methodologically correct and that it meets the ethics and standards of experimental science.

We strongly believe all results deserve to be published and documented for the advancement of science. BB Reports appreciates receiving reports on

• Negative results
• Replication studies
• Reanalysis of previous datasets

BB Reports does accept methodological studies, but does not accept purely theoretical, hypothesis-generating studies without any experimental support and will not consider clinical/(genetic) epidemiological association studies.
