One of the 10 topical journals of BBA

BBA Advances is an open access multidisciplinary journal thatpublishes high-quality research showing novel results in all aspects of biochemistry, biophysics, and related areas, such as molecular and cell biology, and aims to provide a vibrant forum for researchers to explore topics that are important to them and their community.

Papers should emphasize biochemical or biophysical mechanistic evidence and insights.

The journal publishes full-length research articles, reviews, mini-reviews, and brief reports (BBA Research Letters).

In addition, we also publish articles within the theme "Five Burning Questions,” an initiative to promote a scientific topic in a succinct and focused format. Here, we offer researchers the opportunity to identify what they find to be the five most important questions that need to be addressed in a research area that is important to them.
