Dr Yang Yang is the Director of Engineering at the Construction Institute, Chongqing University, China. He is currently the assistant secretary-general of the National Standards Working Group for Monitoring of Engineering Structures, an editorial board member of the “Journal of Intelligent Construction” and the vice president of the Chongqing Construction Industry Association Informatization Branch. In addition to presiding over several Natural Science Fund and National Key Research and Development Program projects he has been granted fifteen patents. Dr Yang is the winner of the first prize of China Architectural Society Science and Technology Progress Award
