José Arturo Gleason
Dr. José Arturo Gleason holds a PhD in Urbanism from UNAM and a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Guadalajara (UdeG), where he is currently a senior researcher. He is a Level 2 member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (CONAHCYT) and leads Gleason Consulting and the Institute of Technological Water Research (IITAAC). As president of the Mexican Association of Rainwater Harvesting Systems (AMSCALL), he promotes sustainable water practices. He has authored several books and led research projects, consultancy efforts, and social initiatives focused on water management. Dr. Gleason has shared his expertise internationally, giving lectures and courses in countries such as Germany, Japan, Brazil, and Australia. In 2023, he participated in the World Water Summit at the United Nations in New York. In 2024, he completed a research stay at the Technical University of Berlin, furthering his work on innovative water solutions.
