Emmanuel Kwaku Ofori
Emmanuel Kwaku Ofori (PhD) is currently an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Chemical Pathology at the University of Ghana Medical School. He obtained his PhD in July 2018 from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. He teaches several disciplines in the health sciences (medical, nursing, veterinary, and laboratory sciences, amongst others). He has supervised and mentored many undergraduate and postgraduate students. His research focuses on lipidomics, metabolic medicine, and steroidal adaptations to diet and exercise. He aims to become an international expert on translational research into metabolic diseases. He has about 68 publications to his credit. He has also presented several abstracts at global conferences. He is the Academic Editor for PLOS One and the Journal of Diabetes Research (John Wiley).
