Ashis Kumar Satpati

Dr. Ashis Kumar Satpati is currently a Scientific Officer at the Analytical Chemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, and Associate Professor, Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, India. His research interests include scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) investigation of thin films, biomolecules and interfaces; electrochemical techniques related to voltammetry for analytical applications; electron transfer reactions in homogeneous and micro-heterogeneous media; and electro-kinetics. He has published 132 journal articles, accumulated more than 3000 citations, and is a member of a number of scientific societies.

Chandra Nath Patra

Dr. Chandra Nath Patra is Head of the Analytical Chemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and Senior Professor at the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Mumbai, India. He worked as a post-doctoral research associate during 1996-1998 at the University of Wisconsin, USA and as a postdoctoral fellow during 2005-06 at the University of Utah, USA. Currently as Dean of the Chemical Sciences of Homi Bhabha National Institute, Dr. Patra is interacting and promoting the interests of the students for the betterment of their scientific career. He has organized several scientific events and outreach programs of the center to promote science among students. Currently he is promoting scientific outreach as Vice President of the Indian Society for ElectroAnalytical Chemistry (ISEAC). Dr. Patra has published more than 70 papers in international journals and 35 in conference proceedings, and has over 2000 citations.
