Dr Rehana Rehman MBBS, MPhil, PhD, FHEA, MHPE, Professor of Physiology and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences Aga Khan University, Karachi Pakistan. She has been involved in teaching of Physiology for the last 30 years in public and private sector medical colleges. She is a well-recognized authority in the field of Reproductive Physiology. Her research is focused on infertility, maternal and fetal wellbeing, wellness of students and ergonomics. She has more than 200 publications in high impact national & international journals. She has compiled; Clinical Case Orientation in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiology, Renal and Gastrointestinal Physiology, Endocrine and Reproductive Physiology published by Paramount. She is author of books; “Five minutes to Wellness”, “Research till publication in Health Care”, “Subfertility Recent Advances in Management and prevention”, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome from Basic Sciences to Clinical Advances Across Clinical Science Life Span” published by Elsevier.

Faiza Alam
Dr. Faiza Alam is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam in Brunei, and previously worked at Aga Khan University. She has been teaching Physiology for the last 18 years. After completing her Masters (Physiology), her research as a PhD scholar was dedicated to identifying the polymorphisms of the SIRT1 gene affecting oxidative environment and fertility. Broadly, her research focuses on the causative factors of non-communicable diseases.
She cultivated a solid foundation in teaching and research within the field of Physiology. Her commitment to academic excellence and track record of delivering engaging lectures align seamlessly with the goals and ethos of your department. Moreover, her collaborative nature and interpersonal finesse have enabled her to foster strong professional relationships, enhancing both her teaching methodologies and research endeavors.
