Review quotes

''The idea of combining all of health and welfare is laudable and bold, but there is a lack of a general resource about what is important to animals. It was therefore pleasing to hear that Jane Williams had undertaken the task, albeit mitigated by trepidation about whether the task was even possible. The book reads engagingly and looks lovely; its exceptionally colourful layout and its charming style immediately draw you in. Numerous tables and diagrams are useful and referred to. It is largely written for a non-specialist audience, although the depth varies somewhat between chapters, making it hard to work out the target audience. The fundamentals are well described, and the animal care assistants in my practice found the unfamiliar topics engagingly understandable.'' Jane Williams
