Richard A. Blum is Professor of film and head of the screenwriting track at the University of Central Florida. He is a former executive and writer-producer for Columbia Pictures TV, and a consultant for Columbia Pictures. He served as a senior program officer for the National Endowment for the Humanities. Dr. Blum was a Consultant for Lorimar/Warner Bros. New Writers' Program. He was Judge and Regional Coordinator for the Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowships, sponsored by the Academy of Motion Pic
