Kapil Gupta

Dr. Kapil Gupta is a Professor, in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Technology, University of Johannesburg — Johannesburg, South Africa. He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur, India. He served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal, India, from 2013 to 2020. His research interests include biomedical signal processing, time-frequency analysis, artificial intelligence, and cardiovascular systems. He has authored research publications in international journals and conference proceedings and has edited scholarly books in his areas of expertise. Dr. Gupta serves as a reviewer for journals and conferences and has contributed to the organization of national and international academic events, including roles on technical program and publicity committees. He has been involved in projects related to automatic diabetes detection and breathing-controlled wheelchairs and holds patents and copyrights. He also contributed as a core team member of the NBA accreditation committee at Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal.

Konstantinos Salonitis

Konstantinos Salonitis is a Professor of Manufacturing Systems and the Head of the Sustainable Manufacturing Systems Centre at Cranfield University, Bedfordshire, UK. He has participated in more than 10 European Commission funded projects as Project Manager or Technical Site Manager. From 2006 to 2010, Dr Salonitis was the Project Manager of an FP6 integrated project (FUTURA - www.futura-ip.eu) on multi-functional materials processing for the automotive industry. Dr Salonitis has published more than 160 research papers in major international journals and internationally referred conferences and authored two books. Dr Salonitis was a Research Affiliate of the CIRP (2007-2013), he is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the IMechE and the Technical Chamber of Greece. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
