    La topographie cornéenne permet de recueillir des informations relatives à la courbure, à la régularité et à l'épaisseur de la cornée, grâce à la projection et à l'analyse du reflet d'un motif lumineux éclairant ou balayant la cornée. La représentation graphique de ces informations se traduit sous forme de cartes interprétées par le praticien. Cette technique de mesure permet d'étudier en détail la géométrie de la cornée et d'apprécier l'effet de certaines pathologies sur le relief cornéen.
