Der Begriff Evidence Based Practice (EBP) hat sich zu einem neuen Zauberwort in der neurologischen Rehabilitation entwickelt. Dies gilt sowohl für Therapeuten und Ärzte, die die Ergebnisse von EBP als Entscheidungsgrundlage für klinische Fragestellungen nutzen, als auch für Kostenträger, da EBP das Vertrauen in die Intervention erhöht und somit die Kostenübernahme ermöglichen kann. Die vorliegende Arbeit untersucht den aktuellen Stand der therapeutischen Leistungen, die Kriterien der Evidence Based Practice (EBP) erfüllen. Darüber hinaus wurden Faktoren ermittelt, die die Übertragung der wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse auf den therapeutischen Alltag fördern oder limitieren. Von besonderer Bedeutung sind dabei der Kenntnisstand der jeweiligen therapeutischen Intervention beim Therapeuten, Anwendungsentscheidungen abhängig von der Funktion, z.B. bestimmter motorischer und sensorischer Systeme, und andere individuelle und umweltbezogene Kontextfaktoren des Therapeuten. Untersucht wurden insgesamt 16 Maßnahmen der neurologischen Rehabilitation, u.a.: Repetition Laufbandtraining Gerätegestützte Therapie: Gangtrainer, Lokomat, Armtrainer, MIT-Manus, Bi-Manu-Track funktionelle Elektrostimulation (FES) EMG-initiierte funktionelle Elektrostimulation / EMG-Biofeedback repetitive transkranielle Magnetstimulation (rTMS) Spiegeltherapie / Einsatz von Orthesen / Bobath-Konzept
