Stem Cell-Mediated Regulation of Pyroptosis investigates the role of pyroptosis in various types of stem cells and stem cell-derived exosomes, considering how they can accelerate tissue repair and regeneration in inflammatory diseases. The book begins with an introduction to the mechanisms of pyroptosis and methods available for its detection. It then considers pyroptosis and its relationship to stem cells, before delving into this interaction across various conditions ranging from cerebral injury, spinal injury and cardiac injury to osteoarthritis, cancer, and many more. This book delves into the latest research findings and future directions in the study of stem cells and pyroptosis, enabling readers to understand the cellular mechanisms underlying this form of cell death and the clinical significance of stem cells in the context of pyroptosis-induced diseases. It considers therapeutic implications and potential strategies targeting this pathway for the treatment of such conditions, providing a comprehensive reference that will be useful to researchers working across cell biology, regenerative medicine, immunology, therapeutics and other related fields.
