Ofer Jacobowitz
Ofer Jacobowitz, MD, PhD, FAASM, FAAOA is an internationally recognized leader in the medical and surgical treatment of snoring, obstructive sleep apnea and nasal obstruction. He is dual board-certified in otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery and Sleep Medicine and is highly skilled at assessing and treating the anatomical aspects of sinus and nasal problems, sleep apnea and spectrum of sleep disorders.
Dr Jacobowitz’ accomplishments include: Chair of the Sleep Disorders Committee of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery; Secretary of the World Sleep Society - World Sleep Society Governing Council; Chair of the International Surgical Sleep Society of Congress in 2019 in New York; The first in New York to perform hypoglossal neurostimulation for sleep apnea and Vivaer, an in-office procedure for nasal obstruction; speaker and course director on sleep and nasal obstruction; editorial board member and peer reviewer for prestigious academic journals; Distinguished service and Honor Award, American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery; Fellow Award, American Academy of Sleep Medicine; Castle Connolly’s Top Doctor (2016-2022), NY Super Doctor, Vitals’ Most Compassionate Doctor.
