Dr. Ajmer Singh Grewal is working as Professor and Head of Department in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana (India). He obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences on the topic “Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of newer glucokinase activators” from I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, Punjab (India). His present areas of research include structure-based drug design and medicinal chemistry of matrix metallo proteinase inhibitors as anticancer agents, antibacterial drug resistance, glucokinase activators as anti-diabetic agents, aldose reductase inhibitors for diabetic complications, PPAR agonists for treatment of metabolic syndrome, multi-potent anti-Alzheimer’s agents, pesticides and environmental chemistry. He owns to his credit a total of 60 publications in national and international journals of repute, 2 book chapters, 1 book, and 2 patents.

Dr. (Er.) Markandeya is working as a Visiting Faculty, Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He has also worked as an Assistant Environmental Engineer in Spectro Analytical Labs Ltd. New Delhi and Green Circle Inc. Vadodara as Executive-Environmental Engineer. Dr. Markandeya availed life membership of Indian Association for Air Pollution Control, New Delhi, The Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata and National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee, India. He is working on various fields related to Air, water and wastewater and also editor and reviewer of various peer reviewed National and International journals. He published more than 67 articles including International Peer Reviewed Journal (31), National Journal (10), Book Chapters (05), International Conferences (12) and other in National conferences.

Tien Duc Pham

Dr. Tien Duc Pham is now working as Lecturer at University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He achieved PhD at University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2014. His research interests focus on adsorption characteristics, mechanisms of surfactants, polyelectrolytes onto metal oxides and soils. He studies adsorptive removal of organic pollutants such as antibiotics, dyes and pesticides as well as inorganic contaminants including heavy metal and ammonium ions using novel modified nanomaterials. He also investigates the new green analytical methods based on spectroscopy and separation methods for environmental and food analysis. He is currently teaching Analytical chemistry, Instrumental analysis and Advanced Spectroscopic methods to both undergraduate and graduate students. He has published about 50 ISI papers in prestigious journals, 35 national papers and many conference papers. He is now working as lead guest editor, topic editor, guest editor and editorial board members of 5 ISI journals on nanomaterials with various applications.
