Dr. Barbara Minton is licensed as a psychologist in the State of Idaho and the Province of British Columbia, Canada. She is known for her innovative programs to address mental health needs of rural Alaskans, severely emotionally disturbed children and their families, and gifted and highly gifted people. She has worked in mental health agencies, been a university professor, and now is in private practice. Her practice is currently focused on neuroscience informed interventions including the use of music specifically composed to impact brain networks. She is BCIA Board Certified in Neurofeedback and a Diplomate in Quantitative Electroencephalogram.
