Dr. Jyothis Mathew (MSc., Ph.D.) is a Professor at School of Biosciences of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and as former Director, School of Biosciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. He has ~20 years of research experience, has published ~103 research publications, 5 book chapters and 2 popular science articles. So far nine PhDs have been completed under his guidance. He has completed three major research projects from various funding agencies. His research areas include characterization of medically important bacteria with emphasis on the study of emerging pathogens, studies on Immunomodulatory effects of common thirst quenchers used in Kerala, antimicrobial activities of some medicinal plants.

Midhun Sebastian Jose

Dr. Midhun Sebastian Jose has completed his doctoral degree from School of Biosciences of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India in 2020. During his 4 years of research, he has published 16 research publications, 2 book chapters and 4 popular science articles. His research areas include characterization of probiotic bacteria with emphasis on its application in aquaculture, studies on Immunomodulatory effects of common probiotics as well as medicinal plants, antimicrobial activities plants or plant derived compounds, microbial synthesis of nanaoparticles, microbial studies on animal models (rat and fish) and studies on endophytes.

Dr. Radhakrishnan E.K is currently working as Professor at School of Biosciences of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Dr. Ajay Kumar is currently working as an assistant professor at Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida, India. Dr. Kumar completed his tenure (2018-2022) as a visiting scientist from Agriculture Research Organization, Volcani Center, Israel and doctoral research from Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India on the theme "Plant microbe interaction". In his research tenures, Dr. Kumar has published more than 235 scientific contributions in the form of research and review articles, books or book chapters with the leading International Journals or Publishers. He has wide area of research experience, especially in the field of Plant-Microbe Interactions, Microbial biocontrol, Postharvest management of fruits, Microbial endophytes related with the medicinal plants and cyanobacteria-pesticides interactions. Dr. Kumar actively engaged in editing book with the leading publisher like Elsevier, Springer, CRC Press, Willey and edited more than 48 books and currently serving as an Associate editor in Frontier in Microbiology, BMC Microbiology and special guest editor in Microorganisms or Plants MDPI, Journal.
