Physical and chemical data, synthesis or degradation pathways, various analytical techniques for identification and quantification, multiple separation methods, and the pharmacology of drug substances are crucial to all stages of pharmaceutical development and are invaluable to field practitioners; however, they are dispersed throughout the scientific literature. The Analytical Profiles of Drug Substances and Excipients consolidates this information into a single source. No other book series provides this essential information as promptly and pertinently. The Profiles series includes review articles and database compilations categorized into five primary domains: Physical Profiles of Drug Substances and Excipients; Analytical Profiles of Drug Substances and Excipients; ADME Profiles of Drug Substances and Excipients; Methodology Pertaining to the Characterization of Drug Substances and Excipients; and Methods of Chemical Synthesis. The 51st volume of Profiles of Drug Substances, Excipients, and Related Methodology provides comprehensive profiles of four pharmaceutical compounds: Vortioxetine, Rosuvastatin Calcium, Perindopril and Ferulic Acid. This volume also includes a review article concerning Drugs and Polymer Based Local Delivery Systems in the Treatment of Periodontal Diseases. In addition to a chapter on Kinetic Exclusion Assay Technology: Theory, Experimental Aspects, and Applications in Concentration Measurements Across Diverse Fields.
