Description

Physical and chemical data, synthesis or degradation pathways, various analytical techniques for identification and quantification, multiple separation methods, and the pharmacology of drug substances are essential at all stages of pharmaceutical development and are invaluable to practitioners; however, they are scattered throughout the scientific literature. The Analytical Profiles of Drug Substances and Excipients compiles this information into a singular source. No other book series delivers this crucial information as swiftly and relevantly. The Profiles series comprises review articles and database compilations organized into five principal categories: Physical Profiles of Drug Substances and Excipients; Analytical Profiles of Drug Substances and Excipients; ADME Profiles of Drug Substances and Excipients; Methodology for the Characterization of Drug Substances and Excipients; and Methods of Chemical Synthesis. The 52nd volume of Profiles of Drug Substances, Excipients, and Related Methodology offers detailed profiles of five pharmaceutical compounds: Pazopanib, Fenofibrate, Sumatriptan, Beclomethasone dipropionate, and Ceftaroline fosamil. This volume contains a review article on Stimuli-Responsive Polymers, detailing their types, classification, and applications in drug delivery.
