Description

Neurological and Neuropsychiatric Disorders: Substance Use and Addictive Behaviors is an essential resource that delves into the intricate relationship between substance use, addictive behaviors, and their profound impact on neurological and neuropsychiatric health. It presents a comprehensive examination of the various disorders and conditions that arise from or are exacerbated by substance use and addictive behaviors, offering a multidisciplinary approach to understanding these complex interactions. This volume provides a detailed and updated exploration of the neurological and neuropsychiatric consequences of substance use and addictive behaviors. By compiling the latest research and clinical insights, this volume aims to fill a critical gap in the existing literature, which often treats substance use disorders and neurological impacts as separate entities. This integrated approach is crucial for both researchers and clinicians who need a thorough understanding of the co-morbidities associated with addiction. This book solves the problem of fragmented knowledge by offering a unified perspective that is crucial for developing effective treatment strategies and understanding the full spectrum of addiction-related disorders.
