Peter R. Makgwane is a full professor at the University of South Africa’s Institute of Catalysis and Energy Solutions, Florida, South Africa. His research focuses on catalysis and photocatalysis, with specific applications in renewable chemicals conversion, environmental remediation, energy, and semiconductor gas chemical sensing.

Hanfeng Liang
Hanfeng Liang is an Associate Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of Solid Surfaces at Xiamen University, China. He earned his Ph.D. from Xiamen University in 2015. Prior to joining Xiamen University, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, and a postdoctoral researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Liang's research interests include the rational synthesis of nanomaterials and functional coatings, with a focus on their applications in electrocatalysis and aqueous energy storage. He currently serves as an Assistant Subject Editor of the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy and sits on the (youth) editorial boards of several journals, including The Innovation, Chinese Chemical Letters, Exploration, Catalysis Communications, Tungsten, and Materials Futures.

Bhalchandra M. Bhanage
Bhalchandra M. Bhanage is the Head and Professor of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. He obtained his PhD from the National Chemical Laboratory, India, in 1995 and subsequently held various positions at Tohoku University and Hokkaido University in Japan. Prof. B.M. Bhanage’s research focuses on the green synthesis of nanomaterials and their applications across various fields, with a focus on catalysis. He has made significant contributions to catalysis for the activation of small molecules such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen for various reactions. Additionally, he has developed novel strategies for reactions including Heck, Suzuki, Sonogashira coupling reactions, their carbonylative forms, hydroformylations, aminocarbonylations, alcoxycarbonylations, aminations, hydrogenations, among others.

Prashanth W. Menezes
Prashanth W. Menezes is Head of the Materials Chemistry Group for Thin Film Catalysis at CatLab of Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie and the Inorganic Materials Group at the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on the design, development, and structural understanding of novel unconventional catalysts in heterogeneous catalysis, especially in the area of redox oxygen catalysis, (photo)electrocatalytic water splitting, as well as electrochemical redox reactions.
