Vivek Chaturvedi

Dr. Vivek K. Chaturvedi is a Young-Scientist Fellow (Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (India). Before joining the laboratory as a Young Scientist Fellow, He worked as a Postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Gastroenterology, IMSBHU, Varanasi. Dr Chaturvedi’s research interests include the synthesis and functionalization of nanobiomaterials, as well as their fabrication, to develop biosensors for early detection and treatment of cancer and gastrointestinal diseases. Besides these, he has published many original articles in peer-reviewed high-impact journals along with internationally edited and authored books.

Jay Singh

Dr. Jay is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Institute of Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, India, since 2017. He received his Ph.D. degree in Polymer Science from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology in 2010 and did MSc and BSc from Allahabad University, India. He is actively engaged in the development of nanomaterials (CeO2, NiO, rare-earth metal oxide, Ni, Nife2O4, Cu2O, Graphene, RGO etc.), based nanobiocomposite, conducting polymer and self-assembled monolayers based clinically important biosensors for estimation of bioanalaytes such as cholesterol, xanthine, glucose, pathogens and pesticides/toxins using DNA and antibodies. He is actively engaged in fabricating metal oxide-based biosensors for clinical diagnosis, food packaging applications, drug delivery, and tissue engineering applications.

Anurag Kumar Singh

Dr. Anurag Kumar Singh is a Research Associate (ICMR-RA) in the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology at IIT BHU, Varanasi. He earned his PhD from the Centre of Experimental Medicine and Surgery, IMS, BHU, and an M. Pharm from Central University of Rajasthan. With more than 3.5 years of postdoctoral experience, he has worked at Alabama State University (Cancer Biology Research and Training) and Bar-Ilan University (Institute of Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials, Israel). His research centers on nano-particulate systems for chronic pain, neurodegenerative disorders, and brain-targeted drug delivery, including dendrimers, nanoporous silica/silicon materials, and polymeric nanoparticles for controlled delivery. He aims to develop nanomedicines for biomedical applications and to bridge engineering, pharmaceutical, and medical research. He has published widely, including reviews/editorials, and authored/editor of four books and over ten book chapters.

Dawesh P. Yadav

Dr. Dawesh Prakash Yadav is presently working as Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi (India). He did his M.B.B.S. and M.D. (Gen. Medicine) from Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), B.H.U. Varanasi, India. He is the Member of Indian national association for study of liver (INASL), Indian Society of Gastroenterology and received many other prestigious awards. Dr. Yadav worked as a senior resident in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi from 2013-2017. He joined as Assistant Professor in I.M.S., B.H.U. in 2017. In 2019 he was promoted as associate professor in the department of gastroenterology; I.M.S.-B.H.U. Dr. Yadav has been carrying out his research on various aspects of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Liver cirrhosis and nanobiotechnology over the last one decade. He has published more than 45 research papers and book chapters in peer-reviewed high impact journals along with many international book chapters. He has currently edited 3 editorial books. He has been serving as an editorial board member of many reputed journals.
