Kimberly A. Thompson, CFRE, is presently Director of Development and Outreach, University Libraries, University of California, Santa Barbara. Her former position was at Oregon State University Foundation as Director of Development for the Libraries and the Linus Pauling Institute. She is active in Association of fund-raising Professionals (AFD), Academic Library Advancement and Development Network (ALADN) and the Development Officers of Academic Research Libraries (DORAL).

Karlene N. Jennings, PhD., CFRE, is presently Director of Development at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. She previously served as Director of Development for University Libraries with the Iowa State University Foundation.
