Ahmet Acar
Dr. Ahmet Acar completed his undergraduate studies at Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey, where he now serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology. He earned his PhD at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute and gained extensive postdoctoral experience in cellular and cancer biology at the University of Manchester and the Institute of Cancer Research in London. After 12 years of research in the UK, Dr. Acar returned to Turkey in 2020, establishing his research group at METU with support from TÜBİTAK’s International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers Program. Dr. Acar’s research focuses on cellular biology and cancer, leveraging his rich academic and professional background
