About the editors

Rajesh Singh Pawar

Dr. Rajesh Singh Pawar completed his B.Pharm (1998) and M.Pharm (2000) from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, and earned his Ph.D. in 2007. He began his career at the Central India Institute of Pharmacy and later joined Shri Rawat Pura Sarkar Institute of Pharmacy. From 2008 to 2018, he was a key faculty member at VNS Group of Institutions. His research focuses on pharmacological plant bioactive screening, herbal drug discovery, and novel drug delivery systems. Dr. Pawar has received significant research funding, published over 100 research articles, and organized numerous national and international seminars. He has guided PhD students and mentored visiting fellows. Currently, he serves as Professor and Dean at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal.

Shweta Kumar

Dr. Shweta Kumar holds an M.Pharm and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Services Management. She began her career as a Lecturer at S.V. Polytechnic College and later advanced to a Senior Research Fellow and Associate Professor at VNS Group of Institutions. At AIIMS Bhopal, Dr. Kumar contributed significantly to research on antimicrobial resistance, while her non-clinical research interests include screening plant bioactives and herbal drug discovery. She has received several awards, including Best Oral Presentation at the 9th International Congress of the Society for Ethnopharmacology and the Champion Award during World Antibiotic Awareness Week 2021 at AIIMS Bhopal, along with multiple accolades for her work in ethnopharmacology and wound healing. Currently, she is a Senior Lecturer at S.V. Polytechnic College, Bhopal, actively involved in the institute's Incubation Centre and serves as an approved mentor at the MAARG portal of M.P.
