Chi-Min Shu
Professor Chi-Min Shu is a Distinguished Chair Professor at the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. His research primarily focuses on thermokinetic analysis, runaway reactions, fire/explosion prevention, risk assessment, and process safety-related issues. Prof. Shu has served as an editor for Process Safety and Environmental Protection and has been an editorial board member for several prestigious journals, including Process Safety Progress (PSP), Journal of Safety Research (JSR, SSCI), Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (JTAC, SCI), Journal of Loss Prevention in the Process Industries (JLPI, SCI), and Processes. His accolades include the Trevor Kletz Merit Award from the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center (MKOPSC), Texas, USA (2021), Distinguished Engineering Professor Award (Chemical Engineering) by the Chinese Institute of Engineers, Taiwan, and the ITACC V4 Scientific Excellence Award at the 3rd JTACC and 9th V4 Thermoanalytical Conference in Hungary (2023).
