The book is organized as a flowchart, allowing readers to accurately determine the proper next steps to take when managing patients' presenting symptoms. Its diagnostic approach starts with the evaluation of the 12-lead ECG, continues with electrophysiological observations and maneuvers, and ends with three-dimensional mapping techniques and real-life cases. Konstantinos P. Letsas
Konstantinos Letsas MD, PhD, FESC, FEHRA received his medical degree in 1997, finishing his doctoral thesis at the Medical University of Ioannina in 2003. He completed his residency in Cardiology at Evangelismos General Hospital of Athens (where he later served as a consultant cardiologist/electrophysiologist). He pursued an advanced fellowship training program with the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) in Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Herzzentrum, Bad Krozingen (Germany). He is accredited by the EHRA in Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology. Currently, he is Deputy Director of the Arrhythmia Unit at Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, where he focuses on catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias (specifically, catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and sudden cardiac death in the young). Dr. Letsas is a member of the EHRA Certification Committee for Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology, the president-elect of the Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology group of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, and has published over 270 peer-reviewed articles.
