Bhabatosh Das
Dr Bhabatosh Das is an Associate Professor in Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. He received his MSc degree (2000) from Visva-Bharati University, MTech degree (2002) from IIT-Kharagpur and PhD (2008) from IICB-Kolkata. He moved to France for his postdoctoral training and joined I2BC, France. Dr. Das is recipient of two international fellowships (i) CNRS, Govt. of France (ii) JSPS, Govt. of Japan and three national fellowships (i) IIT (ii) ICMR (iii) CSIR, Govt. of India. He has published 71 research articles 12 book chapters and received more than 2150 citations. Currently, he is Adjunct Visiting Faculty at MAHE-Manipal; Visiting Faculty at NIPER-Guwahati; Adjunct Faculty at RCB-Faridabad; Guest Lecturer at AIIMS-New Delhi. Dr. Das is Editorial Board Member in (i) Microbial Ecology (Springer group) (ii) Gut Microbiome (Cambridge University Press) and (iii) Current Indian Science (Bentham Science). He is guest associate editor in (i) Frontiers in Microbiology (ii) Frontiers in Genetics and (iii) Progress in Molecular Biology and Translational Research. He is a member in (i) GTFCC, WHO (ii) The Nutrition Society, London, UK and (iii) American Society for Microbiology, USA (Former). His current research focuses is Human microbiome and Bacterial antimicrobial resistance.
