Pau Loke Show

Pau Loke Show is the Director of the Center of Excellence for Research, Value Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CERVIE), UCSI University, Malaysia. He has also been affiliated with Khalifa University and the University of Nottingham Malaysia as a Professor of Biochemical Engineering. His research focuses on biochemical engineering, bioprocessing and sustainable applications of biotechnology, with particular interest in algae-based technologies. He has held leadership roles in professional and international bioprocessing organizations and has extensive experience in academic and research collaboration. He is also a professional engineer and technologist and he holds many memberships with engineering and higher-education organizations in Malaysia and the UK.

Sze Ying Lee

Dr. Lee Sze Ying is an assistant professor at Department of Chemical Engineering from Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering & Science at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). She received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universiti of Nottingham Malaysia. Her research focuses on bioprocess engineering from upstream to downstream processing. She is extensively studying the use of liquid biphasic systems as bioseparation technique to recover value-added products from biomass.

Kit Wayne Chew

Kit Wayne Chew is an Assistant Professor at the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department, United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. He obtained his PhD from the University of Nottingham, where he began his research in sustainable bioprocess engineering for food and pharmaceutical products. His current research focuses on algae biotechnology and the development of cost-effective and environmentally friendly methods for synthesizing functional ingredients. His research interests include sustainable bioprocessing and the utilization of algae for value-added applications.
