Oktay Ozman
Dr. Oktay Özman is a distinguished figure in the field of stone surgery. He has made significant contributions to the field through his involvement in various stone surgery courses and as a co-founder of RIRSearch, a study group dedicated to producing high-quality international scientific publications on stone surgery from Turkey. In 2021, Dr. Özman was awarded the prestigious European Urology Association 1-year Scholarship and served as a research and surgery fellow at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. During this time, under the mentorship of esteemed Prof. Dr. Henk van der Poel, he focused on the field of "robotic surgery and uro-oncology." Dr. Özman successfully completed a modular training program, conducted in collaboration between ORSI Academy and ERUS, and received a certificate of proficiency in robot-assisted radical prostatectomy. Notably, he performed several cases independently, further showcasing his expertise in this area. Additionally, while at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Dr. Özman conducted a TÜBİTAK project, which resulted in the publication of over 40 articles in international indexes. His outstanding contributions have been recognized with three awards, and he has authored three book chapters, solidifying his reputation as a leading expert in the field. Dr. Özman's current accomplishments demonstrate his dedication to advancing the field of stone surgery and his commitment to producing impactful research in the realm of robotic surgery and uro-oncology.

Bülent Önal
He graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He started his urology specialization training at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and completed it in 2002.
During his urology training, he completed a Nephrology rotation at Guy's & St. Thomas's Hospital, Renal Transplantation and Nephrology Department, London, UK.
With a TÜBİTAK scholarship, he worked with Prof. Dr. Barry Kogan at the Urology Department of Albany Medical College, NY-USA between 2005-2006. During the same period, he conducted experimental studies on bladder pathophysiology with Dr. Robert Levin at Albany College of Pharmacy.
He earned the title of Associate Professor on April 1, 2010.
He worked on the genetic basis of Vesico-Ureteric Reflux Disease at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston-USA, with a TÜBİTAK scholarship for the second time, between August 2010 and September 2011. During the same period, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Pediatric Urological Robotic Surgery Center at Harvard Medical School for 1 year, between August 1, 2010 and August 26, 2011. As a result of his work here, he received the second prize for the best clinical research study from the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2011.
He was also awarded the 2012 Sedat Simavi Health Sciences Award for his work on the genetic basis of Vesicoureteral Reflux.
He earned the title of Professor in 2015.
He currently continues to work as a faculty member at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology and as a consultant physician at Gayrettepe Florence Nightingale Hospital.
