Rajesh Kumar Jaryal

Rajesh Kumar Jaryal obtained his Masters in Zoology from Jiwaji University, Gwalior (M.P.) India and PhD from the same institution. Dr Kumar started his academic career in 2013. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosciences, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) India. He has about 12 years of experience in teaching and research. His main research areas are Animal Physiology, Cancer Biology and Natural Products. Currently, he is working on isolating anti-cancer compounds and developing herbal drugs for various cancer types. Dr. Kumar has completed a number of major research projects sponsored by government agencies. Dr. Kumar is member of various prestigious scientific societies and has also served as a reviewer for several journals of national and international repute. Dr. Kumar has published approximately 20 books and 150 research articles in highly reputable journals.

Younis Ahmad Hajam

Dr. Younis Ahmad Hajam holds a doctorate in Zoology from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidayalaya (A Central University), in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Life Sciences and Allied Health Sciences, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, Punjab, India. Formerly Dr Younis Ahmad worked as Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Career Point University, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. He is teaching undergraduate and post graduate and doctorate students. His areas of interests include chronic diseases and their management. He has published 50 research papers in leading national and international journals, 50 book chapters and 10 national proceedings and has published 8 books as an editor in Springer, Apple Academic Press, NOVA Science Publishers, Taylor and Francis. He has received a national award for his contributions in biological science and is an editorial member of various international journals and a member of Asian Council of Science editors.

Shamsher S. Kanwar

Shamsher S Kanwar is a Professor of Microbiology and Biotechnology and IPR Chair Professor at Panjab University Chandigarh, India. His career includes several notable fellowships: a 1998–99 Indian National Science Academy Fellowship studying tuberculosis epidemiology at CDRI Lucknow; a 1999–2000 SERC fellowship researching multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis strains at the National Institute of Mycobacterial Diseases, Agra; a 2005–06 Biotechnology Overseas Associateship examining HIV-Tat and drug abuse effects on neural cells at Kansas University Medical College, USA; and a 2008 Visiting Scholar role in stem cell research at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Kanwar's research focuses on microbiology, immunology, cell culture, and fermentation, with an emphasis on developing bio-products and bioprocesses, particularly for a range of extracellular microbial enzymes, as an alternative to traditional antibiotics and antilipolytic drugs. Currently, Dr. Kanwar is dedicated to the development of anticancer therapeutics through the exploration of microbial ribonuclease, cholesterol oxidase, and L-methionase.
