Marcello Locatelli

Prof. Marcello Locatelli is an Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Università degli Studi "G. d'Annunzio" Chieti–Pescara, a position he has held since 2020. His research focuses on developing and validating chromatographic methods for the qualitative and quantitative determination of biologically active molecules in human, animal, cosmetic, food, and environmental matrices. These methods have been applied across a range of analytes and drug associations, including in clinical and pre-clinical studies characterizing new delivery systems and their pharmacological properties. His work also incorporates predictive modeling and chemometrics to optimize extraction protocols and support data processing, with particular attention to innovative micro-extraction techniques and new instrumental configurations for complex matrix analysis. He has an extensive publication record in international peer-reviewed journals and has authored books, book chapters, and a US patent.

Fotouh R. Mansour

Prof. Fotouh R. Mansour is a researcher specializing in drug and toxin analysis within the life sciences. He has authored an extensive body of work in peer-reviewed journals and has received several research honors, including the University Encouragement Award (2017), the State Encouragement Award (2019), and the Best Scientific Research Award from ACDIMA (2021). He has also received the Shield of Excellence (2005) and the Medal of Merit (2009) from the Egyptian Syndicate of Pharmacists, along with the International Publication Award from Tanta University (2014-2024). He was a participant in the Royal Academy of Engineering's Leaders in Innovation Fellowship Program, placing second in that cohort. His research addresses membrane-based analytical platforms and sustainability assessment metrics for bioanalysis and environmental monitoring.

Alaa Bedair

Dr. Alaa Bedair is an Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry. She has published in high-impact, primarily Q1- and Q2-ranked, journals. She served as a teaching assistant at the University of Sadat City from 2018 to 2021 and as an assistant lecturer there from 2021. Her honors include the Best Scientific Research Article Award from ACDIMA (2021), recognizing a top-cited and widely downloaded publication, and the International Publication Award from the University of Sadat City (2021-2024).
