• Giappichelli’s acquisitions will initially be limited to 3 areas defined by high growth and capable of taking substantial list prices.
• Titles will be previously unpublished. They will either be written in English by professors and researchers or translated into English by Giappichelli.
• Titles will be evaluated according to Elsevier standards and through the normal Elsevier proposal and approval process.
• Elsevier brings to this agreement production, marketing, and distribution channels unavailable to Giappichelli Editore because of its relatively small size.
• These books affirm our strategic goals of digital first, global content, high value, and content as data
• We will conduct all agreements with Elsevier contracts.
