Mohammed Aldhuhoori
Dr. Mohammed Aldhuhoori is an accomplished PhD holder and a committed researcher and teaching assistant at Khalifa University, where he earned his bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees in petroleum engineering with academic distinction. A dedicated member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) for over a decade, he has led technical projects and community outreach efforts, he held the role of the President of the SPE Khalifa University Chapter. His multidisciplinary expertise is further reflected in his memberships with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Aldhuhoori’s research focuses on advanced modeling of fluid dynamics in unconventional reservoirs, specializing in hydrogen separation, sequestration, and subsurface storage. His current investigations explore critical geomechanical, geochemical, and biological mechanisms affecting hydrogen retention in cyclic geo-storage systems. Recognized for his impactful work, his findings have been published in top- tier (Q1) and mostly top 5% journals and showcased at leading international conferences, cementing his emerging reputation in energy research innovation.
