Description

Researchers use brain organoids to study the formation of neural tissues, investigate the processes involved in brain development, and gain a better understanding of neurological disorders and diseases. Brain organoids are particularly useful in studying developmental disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and infectious diseases that affect the brain. Fundamental of Brain Organoids for Neurological Diseases provides a practical resource for researchers on how to utilize and apply brain organoids. This book is organized into nine distinct sections, guiding the reader through each step from advanced overview of what organoids are to the use of brain organoids in various neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. In later sections, this book reviews the necessary methods involved in organoid development including the elements and challenges involved. This book will serve as a valuable tool for researchers, helping to advance the understanding of brain biology and disease mechanisms.
