Fluid Dynamics of Viral Transmission is an essential exploration into the transmission dynamics of COVID-19, focusing specifically on the airborne spread of respiratory aerosols carrying infectious viruses. In light of the recent global pandemic, it offers crucial insights into the complex interaction between fluid dynamics and viral transmission and provides practical solutions for minimizing risks in indoor environments. The book delves into CFD simulations, optimizing ventilation systems, air filtration strategies, and spatial layout modifications. It evaluates mitigation measures such as mask-wearing, physical distancing, and occupancy limits, aiming to equip readers with the knowledge to create safer indoor spaces. This book is ideal for public health officials, policymakers, healthcare professionals, engineers, researchers, and academics in fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, epidemiology, and virology.
