Request a sales quoteDespite stable incidence rates over the past thirty years and enhanced local treatments, survival rates for uveal melanoma have not notably improved. Recent genetic and cytogenetic developments have improved prognostication and cancer identification with high metastatic potential. This book is invaluable for specialists in drug formulation and delivery, eye oncologists, translational researchers, and life scientists.
- Includes an overview of current trends and challenges in eye melanoma treatment
- Delves into the potential of novel drug delivery systems in the effective management of uveal melanoma
- Covers a range of treatment options for conjunctival melanoma, including cryotherapy, brachytherapy, topical chemotherapy, and immunotherapy
- Supplemented with practical examples that illustrate key points and applications, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and rigorous investigation
