Dr. Krishnan Anand has expertise in Organic Chemistry/Medical Biochemistry/Integrative Medicine/Nano(Bio)technology/Drug Discovery and is currently working as Senior Researcher at Discipline of Medical Biochemistry and Chemical Pathology, School of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Sciences, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. He received his Doctoral degree in Organic Chemistry in Department of Chemistry, Durban University of Technology in collaboration with Department of Medical Biochemistry, University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2014. He completed his Master’s degree in organic chemistry from Bharathiyar University, India and Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Durban University of Technology, South Africa from November 2014 to November 2016. He has published many scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has authored many book chapters as well as review articles. He was recognised for his contributions and received awards from national and international organizations. He has been awarded Best Postdoctoral Researcher award for 2016 and 2017 from Durban University of Technology and Young Scientist Researcher award 2016 from Pearl foundation. He is the member of various editorial boards of the journals of the International reputation. Dr Sathish Muthu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Dindigul, TN, India. He did fellowships in Spine Surgery, Orthopaedic Rheumatology and Regenerative Medicine. Ben Peacock
Dr. Ben Peacock is Head of Research at NanoFCM Co., Ltd. He has expertise in exosomal miRNA and protein profiles of EVs from cancer cell lines by RNA-seq and mass spectrometry (ion-trap) with validation by RT-qPCR and further western blotting. In international peer-reviewed journals, he has published more than nine research articles. His research interests include EV research, but he is well established in stromal communication of cancers of the head and neck. Multiple procedures were optimized to maximize EV generation from cell lines, improve concentration and purity of EV isolations, and implement best practices for sample storage.
